Dr. Ehrlich received his B.S. degree in biochemistry at UCLA and his M.D. from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He returned to California for his internship and residency in internal medicine at USC, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. Thereafter he completed an additional two year fellowship in the specialty of clinical cardiac electrophysiology, the study of heart rhythm disorders, at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles. Dr. Ehrlich has been involved in research since medical school and has published extensively throughout his career. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Ehrlich joined the Cardiology Division of the Mission Internal Medical Group in 1993 where he focuses on the treatment of patients with heart rhythm problems. He has special expertise in electrophysiologic testing, placement of pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators (ICD’s) as well as ablation of the focus of cardiac arrhythmias.
